I love these vintage photos of silver coins recovered post WWII that were dumped in Manila Bay by fleeing U.S. forces--to keep them from falling into Japanese hands. I'm sure these U.S. sailors didn't find them all.

love seeing pictures of some of the silver treasure recovered in Manila bay Philippine , just think how much they could of recovered with modern equipment. Have to wonder how much is still setting down there under silt and mud waiting to be recovered. I own a few pieces of the sea salvaged coins from that massive silver dump.
